c) You need to assign roles to each member of the group:

1- The writer: This persons writes down the essay
2-The Grammar person- This person makes sure that there are no grammar mistakes.
3-The Vocabulary person- This person makes sure that you make a good use of vocabulary, with specific words, expressions and proper collocations.
4-The Coherence person: This person makes sure that every sentence makes sense and there is a clear message which is appealing.
5-The Cohesion person. This person makes sure that the essay is well organised,  there is a division in paragraphs and a good use of linkers.

At the end of the essay you must write the names of the people in charge of each role.

As you all know, we have been practising for the Cambridge Advanced Exam during the last few months. Anyway, most of you have not got the First Certificate yet - and it might be very frustrating if you did not pass the Advanced exam and - even though you might get enough marks for achieving the First Certificate, you would not get any.

That is why we are considering to sign some of you for the First Exam instead .

This exam has exactly the same parts as the Adavanced (the "First" one is a little bit shorter, and easier of course). So if you have prepared for the "Advanced" exam you will have the proper practice for the "First" exam too.

This is why you should all complete the test on the link below and send me the final result, in which you are adviced on which exam to take. If you don´t know how to take a screen shot, please watch the youtube tutorial at the end of this entry.

I need it by January 24th. This exam will not carry any mark for your results in English.
