CREATION OF A NEWSPAPER

1-A-HEADLINES: Main features: -,
1-It always omits verb “be”- Example: "TWO BODIES FOUND AFTER SHOOTING"

2-Widely use of present tense to describe something happening in the past - and the infinitive to refer to something in the future. Example:"NIGHTCLUB FIRE KILLS 233 IN BRAZIL"//"PRINCE HARRY TO WED FILM STAR NEXT SATURDAY"

3- Use of shortenings: acronyms, abbreviation and clippings.
Example: "MP'S PLEDGE ON JOBS" 

4-No “a” or “and” or “the”- Avoid the use of the articles a, an and the unless they are needed for clarity
Example: "TRIO SAVED IN CLIFF TOP DRAMA"

5-Eye-catching (attention grabbing)  and brief: "HOW I IMPROVED MY MEMORY IN ONE EVENING", "SUICIDE OF A HACKER"

6-Use of puns: "MAY YOU BE WITH THE FORCE"- Calls made for people to help our the police
